My girlfriend forgot my birthday ...?

we been together for over a year.

she got paid two days before nd its already spent.

we also live together.

i talk bout my birthday all the time.

Over a year is a long time. Talk to her. Ask her why. Well happy late birthday.

I'm sorry to hear this; maybe she just truly forgot.  Some people are just not good at remembering things like that unfortunately.  Tell her that you're upset about it and she'll  probably make up for it...celebrate it again over the weekend or another day you choose.

That is really sad that she did that. I think you should really sit her down and tell her how much it hurt. If she can not make a honest effort to remember things like your bday or your anerversary then well maybe you need to rethink things because as much as you may love her is this the type of person you want to be with for the rest of your life?

Ask her why she forgot it and has yet to make up for it. Make sure she knows it up set you. If you have been together that long really you have a right to be upset. Just hear her side 1st and then go from there but don't be afraide to make it know that it upset you!

Sometimes people get so caught up with work that they forget little important things in life like this. Don't be mad at her. Just tell her it's your birthday and make a sad face and she'll say " Omg, I'm so sorry I forgot! I love you! " I don't know. I don't see my birthday as a big deal so I wouldn't know what it would feel like if someone forgot my birthday...

has she been distracted or just seemingly "off" lately?

there may be something bothering her in a different aspect of her life that took up her attention, but still, for being together for so long, that's not a great excuse for missing your birthday. you should mention somthing like "(insert your best friend's name here) got me the cutest/greatest/most thoughtful present FOR MY BIRTHDAY" and maybe she'll get slightly jealous and want to beat them out for the Best Present Award.

I'm sorry that happened!  It's a shame.  Maybe there's something on her mind??  Either way, it's certainly not a good thing, and if you don't speak to her about it, when she realizes she missed it, she might not be able to forgive herself.. so talk to her and find out whats on her mind.  ... And get a nice purse  :) hah
