  1. um i think shes to young for that because normally old people get them removed because some type of bone is desapeering and they need to be taken off and then need theeth implant  iam not shure why they did that to her but u guys should go see a periodontic   good luck

  2. dentistry is not about pulling the teeth out of the patient's mouth i consider it a bad idea of course there were another clues and methods to treat your poor girlfriend,i wish she gets better soon

  3. Your g/f seems to have serious periodontal problem that needed removal of 23 teeth. I feel sorry for the lady. But didn't the dentist explain everything to her or the one accompanying her before the procedure? The number of teeth pulled is big, though the issue is not if there were no impactions/wisdom teeth involved. I hope she is being given the immediate dentures, and what future course of treatment is being planned to restore her oral health are also being discussed. The cost of future treatment is the next major concern. A visit to the link http://www.dentalcare-indiatour.com/dent... may offer some succor. Good luck.

  4. I had my top and bottom wisdom teeth removed at two seprate times. I also had some molars taken out a long time ago. When I got my bottom wisdom teeth out and my molars they put me to sleep. The second time, when they took out my top wisdom teeth, I was awake. I felt a lot less sick when I wasn't put to sleep, But for 23 teeth I think she probably should have been put to sleep.

  5. 23 teeth?! wow. I don't know if that's bad. The most teeth I got out at one time is either 4 or 5.

  6. pretty standard procedure...I'm hoping your g/f is like 50...else there is some poor hygiene going on.

  7. No it is not bad dentistry.  See my avatar? That is my new smile. I have dental implants. I had all my teeth pulled implants placed and my new teeth attached in one 6 hour surgery with only anesthesia. Not even laughing gas.

So it is normal. I feel for your girl friend. Why did she lose her teeth at such a young age? Without teeth or dental implants the bones deteriorate which is more sad than having her teeth pulled with only anesthesia.  To me that points to bad dentistry than being awake. What options did they give her?
