  1. its natural for a guy to be worried about his girl.

    shes probably okay.

  2. It depends on why the doctor has recommended the CT scan.  It is not normal...most people go their entire lives without having one, but a scan can be in order for something as mundane as checking for persistent sinus problems.

Reasons to worry would be based on why she had the blood work in the first place.

  3. aww that is so sweet. i wish i had a guy who cared as much about me.. .. .. ..lol oh well

anyways a CT scan is nothing too serious.

i know this from my experience at being an accident prone/hospital haunter. lol

when i had appendicitis, they did a CT scan to figure that out, and they used a CT scan to tell me my kidney was failing.

then when i did a face plant off a pop machine, they did a CT scan to make sure i had no internal injuries.

it can also just be used to cancel out some things that might have shown up in her blood work, depending on what her blood was being tested for.

just calm your nerves, because stressing over it won't help anything.

and if you really want to know if you should be worried or not, then ask her or ask her parents why she had he blood work, or what came up in it, or just straight out what the CT scan is for.

don't worry. more than likely everything will turn out all right

(oh, and btw, tell your gf i said she is a very lucky girl to have a guy care so much, <3)

  4. A CT scan is just a way of looking "inside" someone without slicing them open.  It is not a really commonly used technique for everything, but presumably your girlfriend described or exhibited symptoms to her doctor that indicated it might be a good idea to 'take a look'.

Before you worry too much, you should wait & see what (if anything) the CT scan shows.  You should go with her if you can/if you are allowed, it's just about the coolest machine to watch in operation. Very 'Star Trek", LOL!

It's certainly better to HAVE the scan and have it show nothing (or something that needs attention) than to not have it and so not know about something that could easily be fixed now but might get worse later...
