My girlfriend just got a windows mobile 6 phone (At&t Tilt) I have the sidekick. Why is her AIM terrible?

I get messages on AIM instantly while it takes her up to a minute to get them. It is impossible to have a real conversation on aim with her phone. It was one of the main reasons why she got the Tilt and now it's turning out to be a useless feature.

I have heard all windows mobile phones have a pretty severe delay, is this problem not fixable? Is it not a phone error and it is just how it is?

I just spoke to somone yesterday... they said that wm6 was worse than wm5... matter of fact they were going to see if they could get it downgraded...

I don't know what happened with it, it's just worse.  I had a wm device... I could only put up with it for about a month before I had to give it up and go back to the more user friendly and reliable Palm os.

If you are using the im program that is on the phone (OZ IM)that is the problem or at least part of it . go to handango and get a program called slick . It works so much  better .
