My girlfriend recently broke up with me but as we were talking she said she wants to be close friends again?

like we used to be and that she does not mind doing any physical things with me. Does mean that she may still want to be more than friends in the future? And what does she mean by physical things? I would appreciate your help.

It sounds like she wants to keep you close by, in case she can't find anyone else right away, to fulfill her needs...whether they be sexual or emotional.  But at the same time, don't fool yourself into believing that she will still be there for you, in a sexual manner, if she should find someone else that she wants to pursue.  This seems to meet her needs more than it will yours...

You might want to remind her that she can't have her cake and eat it, too.

She doesn't like you.  She wants to use you for s*x.  That is why she wants to be "close friends."  She doesn't even want you as a friend.  Like I said...she just wants to keep you on the sidelines so she can have s*x whenever she feels like it.  

Now, if you don't mind having casual and MEANINGLESS s*x, then go for it bro.  Have s*x with her.  But she doesn't ever want a relationship with you beyond being "s*x buddies."  If you don't like being taken advantage of, and you want a real relationship with her...then you should move on, because she doesn't want to get back with you to have a real relationship.  She just wants you for s*x.  As soon as she finds another guy, she will leave you in the dust and never talk to you again.

Here is the truth: The girl may have found someone else but she doesn't want to be looked at (by you) as a bad person, so she tell you that she wants to stay friend. In another word, you are either a backup or she still see some benefit of keeping you around. I'd suggest stay away from this type of girl as you should spend your time finding someone who truly appreciate you and love you instead. Learn from my mistake and move on now.

basically shes saying she wants to be friends with you still, meaning talk etc and she wont mind do physical things with you meaning s*x and sexual things.. now honestly in my eyes its hardly ever good to stay friends with ex's ( not all the time but most of the time ) because its so easy to slip back into old ways and it makes the break up process hard. also I dont think you and her doing physical things together still will help eathier if your trying to break up, it will make it more difficult to get around the break up process. I agree with the first comment go out there and have fun but i dont think you should be having fun with her. It will make things more difficult, probably more for you than for her.

Wow it doesn't sound like she's ready to sever the ties so quickly. She still wants you in her life, but playing a different role. Tell her she can't have the best of both worlds and it's either time to move on or get on board. You may want to ask her about the physical thing. That can have a lot of differnt meanings.
