My girlfriend wants to melt some scented tarts into a wine glass, how can she do this safely.

She can use a tart warmer to melt them, then carefully pour the wax into the glass.  That will build up layers of wax in the bottom and look really nice with different colors.  Or she *might* be able to melt them inside the wine glass if she puts the glass into very hot water (sort of like a double boiler).  She'd have to watch the glass very carefully, though, so it didn't get too hot and shatter.

I guess I would slowly melt them in a pan on the stove keeping a very close eye on them. The VERY CAREFULLY pour the melted wax into a wine glass.

OR.... I would suggest putting one of the small candles in the scent she likes in the glass. Light the candle, then once the candle has totally melted, because the melted wax will take on the shape of the glass, pull the wick out and let the wax cool. That way you don't have to worry about trying to pour the wax into the glass.
