My girlfriends & I are going to Cancun... they are all fully packed and ready to go but ...?

Question

I have not packed ANYTHING! We leave 6/10 and so far all Ive managed to pack is my sunscreen 2 swim suits and a towel. Im so lost Ive done 3 lists and still cant get it together, any pointers? give me some suggestions or things I might be forgetting my mind seems so foggy I just cant concentrate on packing....

How bout some sandals , If your doing a  walking tour you could also bring a pair of sneakers, A nice outfit or 2 or 3 for when you go out a night,Sunglases cant forget those, Shorts

IM out also in a few weeks and all ive packed so far is shorts and trunks

Which just reminded me I have to get packing

I am a Cruise Lover and Cruise twice a year, for years, I have my Cruise List downpack, I never forget a thing! thanks to "Linda Diva's Cruise List" you can find it on the Web, just type in the name, it's fabulous, it suggests items to bring, and covers every field of your cruise, like what clothes to bring, and what not to bring,you never mentioned  you are going on a cruise, but check this list out, I'm sure it can help, even if you will be staying at a Hotel, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hola from Cancun!

Most people bring way too much stuff on vacation with them...

All you need is:

swim suits, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat or visor, toiletries, sandals, walking shoes (if you are going on any tours), beach cover up, shorts, sundresses or what ever you prefer wearing.

It does get hot here and many people change shirts during the day...so you may want to bring a few extra tee shirts.

If you are going to the clubs...it is a wear what you want. You will find "sparkly" dresses to short shorts...up to you!

Remember most airlines are now charging for luggage or extra luggage so don't go overboard.

My husband & I just came from Cancun, we stayed at the Aventura Spa Resort in Riviera Maya. We were there from 5/16-5/23, 2008. I tried packing light. You really don't want to pack anything heavy to wear. We stayed in our bathing suits and wore shorts & skirts for restaurants. It is so humid. I am from California, and even though I am use to beachy hot weather, the weather in the Yucatan Peninsula is very different. Pack very light clothing, sun block. We swam with the dolphins and even though we could of bought under water cameras, it wasn't really needed. There really isn't time to take the pics. They have people there taking pictures for you. I would also say bring a hat to cover your head. Take sunglasses to cover your eyes. Take a reg. camera to take pictures when you are on tours or from your room. The water is absolutely beautiful.

The resorts, pretty much have everything you need, even clothes if you want to purchase them. I don't think you need towels, most resorts will give you towel cards for the pool and towels for your room. A big thing to do is leave enough room in your luggage to put souveniers in. Also, remember you can only bring 1 ltr. of alcohol per person. So make sure you tag your luggage accordingly. We didn't know this rule so we lost a bottle of alcohol that you can only get there because our luggage had already had its limit. Duh! Live & learn. Mexicana had our luggage when we got to Cancun, but we didn't get our luggage when we came home for 2 days. So take caution.

So that's why it's good to just pack light! One pair of walking shoes because we did a tour to Chitzen Itza, which was very interesting but very very hot. But we pretty much stayed in flip flops.

Remember you can't do everything everyday, relax and enjoy the scenery. No worries!

second just stand in your room and imagine yourself getting ready for every kind of occasion you would go to while in cancun, and act like you're gonna get dressed and just go get your clothes, fold em up then pack em.

Gonna need sun stuff, some things in case it gets somewhat cold, but not too many things and you NEED some dress clothes in case go to a restaraunt.  

Lastly you *** you;'re going to cancun just be happy
