  1. It's probably normal to feel a little dizzy for a few days.

If you have a high prescription, you might be experiencing a bit of distortion in your periphery that you wouldn't experience with contacts, in addition to simply not having as much peripheral vision as you had with your contacts.

The prescription in your glasses may be a little stronger than the one in your contacts, since contacts fit directly against the eye.

Also, if you have astigmatism and have used toric contacts to "reshape" your cornea, you're not getting that from your glasses, so there may be a bit of a difference there.

Last, your glasses frames might not be exactly adjusted the best way for your prescription needs.

Give the glasses a go for a week or so, and if you cannot get used to them, you might go back to your eye care professional.

  2. Its okay, when I 1st got my glasses, they made me dizzy and gave me head aces for a week. give your eyes time to get used to them. try tylonal to help.

  3. Hey

It's perfectly normal when you first wear glasses. It will be o.k after a few hours if you keep wearing them.

Have you thought of laser eye surgery?

  4. ur eyes juz got used 2 not weaing glasses and so it feels weird. ull get over it.

  5. Yes,it is your eyes arent used to having glasses just giveit a week meanwhile drink fluids and be careful if you can drive the same think happend to me i felt like i was on the t*t a whirl hope i helped

  6. yes it is totally normal. The vision you have for your contacts is less than what you get for your glasses (it has something to do with the fact that the glass lenses are farther away from your eye). But its just a matter of getting used to your glasses, the dizziness will go away in a couple of days =)

oh and dont stand up/move too fast while you're wearing them, I've found it gets you dizzier =)
