  1. Try feeding it feeder fish, frozen shrimp and frozen red worms.

  2. well......

my goldfish ate my other fish >.<

    just a thought...

  3. There are a lot of dorks on here.....

That being said, you can try clipping lettuce on the side of the tank, (the inside). My goldfish love that.

I give them thawed frozen peas and carrots. Don't use the canned stuff, too many preservatives. Mine are big enough. If yours are smaller make a mash.

Others have suggested egg yolk, cooked slightly.

Best of luck to you and your fishies......

  4. try tetra color tropical flakes. i know it sounds like it's for tetra fish but it is not. i had a betta and he passed away, now i have 8 fishies and they love this stuff. trust me. go buy it and you will see :)

  5. There has to be a reason they are not eating.  It is usually associated with the water quality and their health.  How many gallons of water and how many fish.  What is the water parameter readings?  Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, and PH?   When was the last partial water change and how often are you doing them?

Also, there are many kinds of foods you can get for them.  I like the floating pellets best for them.  Also, make sure when you do feed them that you are not over feeding.  Left over food in the tank creates more waste and lessens the water qualities.

Look them over really good, are they in good color, and their scales look healthy?  Do they have any odd growths on them, fuzzy looking spots or anything else?

  6. Go get brine shrimp.

It's tiny cubes of frozen shrimp.

I found out the best way to give it to them,

is to take a cup of water, and put it in there

for about 10 mins, just to defrost it,

    and then pour it in.

Otherwise usually one fish that is a jerk

    takes the whole cube.

  7. its no biggie. theyre gonna die in a few days anyways...

  8. Frozen brine shrimp. You keep it in the freezer and pull of a tiny, tiny piece...drop it in the water and they will go nuts.

  9. yes their is mine was the same way and i had to feed him flies and they love them if their not to big.

  10. Try tubifex worms. My goldfish loved them. But they could be refusing to eat because of stress, illness, or because you have them in too small of a tank. One goldfish should be housed in about a 20 gallon tank. How long have you had them? Sometimes fish won't eat until they've adjusted to their new environment.

  11. well you prolly need to be givn dem toast. It aint not bad for them, and it dont taste not bad or.So ope dat helps. i aint not a fish but i do know lots bout them

  12. Go buy real food .

you see, we hate vegetables (some of us)

    we like fast food.

    same with goldfish

they want fast food which is non nutricious =]

  13. Weetabix!

  14. I am sorry to not deliver the answer to your question - I do not know why your goldfish are not eating.  Goldfish live for food (much like Beagles and Dachshunds :))

Goldfish are vegetarians.  Try feeding them mustard greens, romaine lettuce, bits of kale.  Wash these items thoroughly and parboil them (boil just enough to soften the leaves).  (NOTE:  Do not feed "iceberg lettuce".  This is the common head lettuce that we use for salads.  There is no nutritional value and is made up mostly of water.) You can get a clip that will hold a piece of lettuce that fits and adheres to the inside of your tank, or you can tear the green leaves into very small pieces.    I also feed my goldfish frozen bloodworms.  Thaw them under cold water and rinse them well.  Bloodworms will leave an oily residue in the water should you not rinse them.  Bloodworms are also a nutritious food item.  Also some frozen brine shrimp, daphnia, mosquito larvae are excellent food sources.  When I feed commercial food I use the pellets that slowly fall to the bottom.  This way they do not take in to much air feeding on top of the water (theory for swim bladder bloat). Match the pellet size to your fish so that they do not get them stuck in their mouth and can't spit them out.  I have had to help goldfish "purge" large pellets that they could not get past their "lips".

    Good luck.

  15. my fish died because of that

    sorry to tell ya that

my fish were blind (I HAVE NOOOOOO IDEA HOW THAT HAPPENED!!)

so they couldnt find therir food.

maybe thats what happened to ur fish

  16. You should use sinking pellets. And before feeding take some of the aquarium water in a bowl or something and put the food in there. Let it soak for 2 minutes and then feed it to the fish. This should be the main part of their diet. Don't feed too much.

You can also feed them steamed green peas (with the shell taken off and the pea squished in between your fingers), lettuce (the leafy part, washed and broken into little pieces), and oranges (the inside section of the orange --obviously).

  17. try salad

  18. lol they'll eat it if they're really hungry

  19. Well as long as tyour goldfish don't eat.

Why don't you eat your goldfish! Like the crackers! Get it?

    Then hop on a plain.
