My goldfish is hurt.?

my goldfish has a twnty gallon tank, i de chlorinated it and have had him happily for 4 years but today his goldfish pal died then he leapt out of the tank. luckily he did it whjilst i was ther, there is also a lid on the tank, he had bloodshot fins and has split his tail, the bloodshot fins have settled but is it likely that my fish will die?

He will probably be okay- just keep an eye out for infections on the stressed fish. Otherwise he should heal up just fine.
