My friend did. Here's what she sent me in an email this morning:

"He might not be the best speaker ever, but it's more about WHAT he's saying than HOW he says it (which is ALL Obama is).

I'm a hardcore conservative and I wasn't even going to vote this year. He chose Palin and I was like, "OK, Mcwhatever and Palin '08!" But after McCain's speech tonight, I can honestly say I'm excited to vote for him. The one huge thing that shined through his speech was that he genuinely LOVES his country.

He talked about a lot of things I agree with and I'm excited about the ACTUAL change he and Sarah would bring to Washington. But I was actually and officially made a McCain fan when I saw that he meant what he said when he talked about his country changing him."

  1. i am a democat voting for mccain. i have always liked him and think he is the best choice for the people and for the country!

  2. She and millions of others, including Republicans and Democrats and Independents.

  3. Let him make his own mind up.  If he wants to vote for McCain, then fine, its his choice.  If you are a good friend, you may want to keep that friendship by being supportive even if you do not agree with it.  One thing we have in America is a choice.  And it is no one elses choice but our own.  Like it or not, its up to him just like its up to you.

  4. I totally agree, I am the same way, was not going to vote (I am a registered independent) but I will do anything to help keep Obama out of office!

  5. You can't dispute that McCain loves this country. With Obama, it's debatable. That alone is good enough reason to vote McCain instead of Obama.

  6. Your friend is a smart person.

  7. It is shameful how the elitist far-rights have stolen this party.

  8. Your friend is a smart gal who has seen the light!

  9. God for your friend, I am also a hardcore right wing conservative, Go John and Sarah!!

  10. Crystal Meth?

  11. dont worry about it. McCorny wont win.

  12. I registered to vote this election TO vote for Obama. But the more I listened to him, the more he started to scare me and give me the creeps. And I realized I didn't agree with any thing he was saying.

I am now a proud McCain/Palin supporter. And am ashamed to say I almost wasted my vote on Obama.

Now only if the rest of Obama cult followers would realize he is not right for this country....

    *TEAM MCCAIN!*

  13. McCain charged up the conservative base in one swift move, then we all sat up and took notice of him as well.

  14. Smart person

  15. You choose friends wisely!

  16. She gets it. The difference between McCain and Obama is obvious.

  17. I am a lifelong Democrat and Hillary Clinton supporter. After Hillary's speech I said "d**n I am going to have to vote for the SOB Obama".  After a few days, I was not sure anymore, since I really hate Obama and the people behind his campaign. I know that McCain is a better man. But after McCain's speech, I have to vote for him, even if he is a Republican.  Hands down, McCain is a much better human being than Obama will ever be. It is not about party anymore, it is about country. In a time of war, we need McCain. Obama is an ignorant fool.

Obama-Biden...  Osama Bi-Laden...  kind of hard to remember the difference. This is rather ironic isn't it?

  18. McCain is running as a war hero from 30 years ago. Why is he so ashamed of admitting he supported Bush 90% of the time? Because we're hip dip in doo-doo as a result of the republican policies, that's why!

Palin is a fake-she's no "reformer". Check it out:http://www.thepresidentialcandidates.us/...

  19. I thought McCain's speech was excellent as well.  Granted, Obama is a great speaker but, truly, he has nothing to say.  McCain is not a great speaker but, what came through in his speech is how much he loves the country and we all, hopefully, love as well.

McCain has dedicated his life to serving America.  He is a true American hero and I would be honored to call him the next president of the US.

  20. I'm cool with the ticket.

  21. Unfortunately, he stole all that from Obama's speech.  So you are loving Obama vicariously through McCain.

    Pretty kinky!

  22. She made the right choice.

  23. mccain=more countries hating us and probably ww3

your friend should reconsider his vote.

  24. Bravo for your friend! She has really listened and has been enlightened! Bravo and Bravo McCain!

  25. Awesome

  26. um...who still emails their friends? I think you're lying

  27. I feel the same way. I watched him last night and feel nothing but love towards him.

  28. He said he's a hardcore Conservative. So his choice would make sense. "actual" is the key word. See McCain and Palin have proved that they can easily go against their own party. Obama's record. Not so clear.

  29. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The same happened for me!  Palin pulled me in and McCain last night, sealed it!!!!

    VOTE MCCAIN/PALIN 2008
