My good friend went to Iran?

My good friend if from Iran and moved to Canada when she was 6, now she is going back for the summer for a while, and im really scared for her. I haven't heard anything from her since shes been their. Should I be worried? Or an I overeacting?

look.it's ALL propaganda.PERSIA or IRAN is totally different from what u think or have seen it TV.i'm not saying it's heaven but belivie me it's not what u think so your friend is totally safe.:)

She's in a completely different continent its not like she can just grab her cell phone and make a call......its extremely difficult over there.

Your overeacting....my dad was just there for a month and he came back fine.

I am an Iranian and its 18 years I am living in my beloved country...what do u think?do u think ur friend is in danger? u r right she might be...but not bcoz she is in Iran but bcoz all ppl can be in danger at any time and any place...if u think coming to Iran can harm anyone u shud know its just some rubbish ideas govermental ppl try to make ppl believe...I wish u travell to Iran once...to see what a beautiful country we have...

i am sure she is too busy with partying with family and relatives that she doesn't have time to call. in Iran when somebody comes back home after a long time all relatives love to through a party for him/her .

don't worry and be sure that she is having fun and will be back in no time

I am a white British male and i'm off to Iran soon. I travelled through syria and Lebanon last summer and met people of all nationalities who had travelled to iran. They all said it is one of the most safe countries in the world and I believe them.

Iran really isn't backwards like many people in the west believe. For example there are more women in education then men!

Let me tell you about myself:

I am Iranian (Persian) born in Iran, but at the age of 7 I moved to Montreal because of my dad's work. Since the first time I had lived here in Montreal I have gone and visited Iran and it is unlike all you ever hear about in the media. I am 18 now, and ever since the first time i went there(even I was scared of safety) I found out that it is nothing like the media shows it as.... Iran is as safe as any other country....

Believe me Iran is a beautiful land, and no matter what the media says, Iran is one of the safest places on Earth

Iran is a beautiful land, mountains deserts, forests and rivers: all you can ask for is there. The people are welcoming and nice to all guests and relatives alike... The police are helpful and kind and the torture innocent people thing is a myth,.... People are fashionable in the city streets, while the villages bring you a glimpse of the beautiful Persian culture

People live in Harmony with nature in the suburban regions while the bustle and hustle of the Larger cities are no different from any other large city.. There is a huge diversity of different kinds of people...

Dont be worried for your friend I guarantee that she will not only be safe, she will enjoy the trip too! Iran is a wonderful place.... and Iranians are the best people deserving this wonderful land
