My good friend will not believe me when I say I'm pregnant?

I have lied to her before, but I told her yesterday I was pregnant, and she did not believe (I am). I told her all my symptoms and told her my test was positive but she just kept on telling me I was lying and got mad at me. How do I make her believe I am pregnant (without showing her the test and waiting for me to show, obviously)? I would like her support but she is just blowing me off...

Well, without having her stand in the bathroom and watch you pee on one of those delightful sticks there isn't much you can do to change her mind in the short-term.  You can always try the sit down heart to heart talk, maybe explain to her that you know you've been alittle sketchy on the truth before but that you truely are pregnant, and need a friend to be there with you.  Hopefully she'll start listening and be there for you!

Don't worry about that right now, you can't change someone's mind. Care for you and your unborn baby, and your friend will see that you aren't lying, and she'll come around.

It's obvious at some point, it will be undenyable that you are in fact pregnant.

This is what happens when people lie. I have a sister in law just like you. I can't stand her and I don't believe a word that comes out of her mouth anymore. Guess you're just going to have to wait til you start showing.

I had a friend just like that. It made me so mad. She was like, no girl can get pregnant at 14, especially not you. She just now believes me now that I am showing a bit. I just keep bringing up the subject and bringing it up. I showed her my u/s at 14 weeks and that helped because now she knows it's for real.

it's a shame when children get pregnant.  i'm assuming you are young, since you sound immature.  you lie, you lose trust.  oh well.  doesn't sound like YOU are a good friend to her.   why are you so h**l-bent on forcing her to believe you?

Unfortunately if you lied to her before you have broken a very sacred trust and that's not something you can just get back by telling the truth.  Unfortunately you'll have to show her your tests or take her to the doctors with you....but getting her to "believe" you anytime soon isn't going to happen.

show her the test ... why cant you? It would certainly make her realize you are ... just make sure you buy a new test and take it while shes with you
