My grandaughter has forgoten her password and can't access windows xp can any one help.?

If their is more than one account on that computer you can sign in to the administrator account and maybe access her account details from there or delete the account and add her a new one.

Not sure if this will help, cuz I never com across this before, usually people set them as something they will easily remember Lol!

Sign in the administration account and from there remove her password.

when she goes to where it asks 4 her password underneath it says "forgotten your password" click on this and they will email the password to her pc.

is it the admin account?

if so then i dont know what to do other than reinstall. if it isnt then the admin can reset the password.

you neglected to say whether or not she is the only user on the pc,if she is not then you can log in as the other person if that person is an administrator and delete your grandaughter as a user, then set her up as a new user
