  1. Once you hit 13, you don't need to travel with someone, I'm not quite sure if that true for internaitonal flights, but where's she coming from?

  2. Yes, but they will assign someone to keep an eye on her, they are very careful with minors nowadays.

You will probably have to provide the name and contact details of whoever's meeting her at her destination to the airline also. I suggest phoning the airline directly and asking them what you should do.

  3. All the airlines differ with their rules on this, but I think most accompany minors, and at 14 she is that.

  4. phone the airline just to be 100% sure as different airlines have different policies. Also if you phone them they can put a note by her booking so they are aware from as soon as she checks in that shes on her own and help her out a little.

  5. I think not but ask the ariline. I do  not  think that is actually uinusual

  6. hi you

if the airline or airlines or inform of the fact of her age and  she will be on her own and if she has a stopover the airlines will have someone watching you granddaughter will be safe don't worry

  7. She doesn't have to be escorted, it depends on the airline =]

  8. Yes but your airline or the airline that she is flying with will asign her a air hostess or host who will help her out and show her where to go

  9. No, she will be considered old enough but you can ask the airline to keep an eye on her.

If it makes you feel better my daughter is off to Germany alone soon and she is 14.

remember that 150yrs ago girls went into service many miles away and all their parents had was a monthly letter,if that!
