  1. Dont ignore this!!!  She has told you something devastating and you must react now!  Before anything else happens.

So what if he just puts in on her butt?!  That IS abuse, and her step father is a pedophile.  It does not take someone to put anything in anyone for it to be molestation.  She needs to be protected from this man.

I would talk with mom now, and tell her everything.  If mom doesnt do anything call child protective services.  Make an appt with her Dr. and have him do an examine to check for abuse.  She can not be around this man at all, and explain that to mom.  A lot can go in just a few miutes, even when someone is in the home.

I know because Ive been there...and still suffer from my past.  You can never really imagine what these things can do to a person unless you have been there.  Your granddaughter is feeling helpless and scared - very scared.

HELP HER!!!  Keep her away from him, even if that means having her move in with you.  You also need to tell your granddaughter that you are proud of her for telling you, so she will continue to talk...there probably is much more going on that she is unable to tell you.

If there are other children you need to do the same for them...its usually not an isolated incident.

    God bless your family!

  2. You need to talk to your granddaughter's mother about what her child said. If she chooses to deny or ignore it, then you need to report what the child has said to Children's Protective Services.

If you suspect that your daughter will opt to protect the father over her daughter, then you can take the child to the doctor yourself and tell him or her what your granddaughter has said. By law, the doctor has to report any suspicion of child abuse. The doctor doesn't have to see physical injury to trigger a report. What you don't want to do is let this slide until the girl is horribly harmed with a memory or injury that she will have for life.

Please protect your granddaughter. She can't protect herself and told you this for a reason.

  3. call the police.  if a caregiver is being inappropriate it needs to be reported.

  4. call the cops asap

  5. UHM! You take her to the doctor and have her checked out! And get him AWAY from her asap!
