  1. you don't

  2. first of all, find out if your 5 yr old granddaughter is modeling material, not all cute kids are. Then, upon seeking a proffessional opinion, if you decide to go forward, your agent will try to get you as many jobs as they can. It may not be the catologue you wish, but if its work, god bless you, most agencies will make you pay for work even they dont find it. you can find them in any talentyagency listing in a phone books or online. be prepared for failure, some agencies do not see the beauty that most grandmothers see or every kid would be a model.

  3. Open your Yellow Page directory and look for Modeling Agencies.

You'll have to contact them to check if they accept very young children or not and then book an appointment.

    See the link below.

  4. Like the others said, find a modeling agency in the yellowpages (one that is downtown, and reputable).  From there, they will tell you if she's got 'it'.  She'll have to have tough, thick skin, agencies can be VERY harsh, and might even ask her to modify her look (dye her hair, lose weight, etc...).  NOT a very good environment for kids, trust me.

After that, she will have to become a union member and in addition to paying dues, she will have to earn credits to become a full member.

In addition, if her agent decides she's going on 17 casting calls that week, then that's it, you have to do it.

It is very, very, very hard/tiring/demanding/hard on your self-esteem.

    Really not worth it.
