  1. Go to white pages and type in last name and area it is a start

  2. Ralls in in Crosby Co, TX.  You can find a lot of information here

    http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txcros...

One good way would be to join the mailing list (instructions on that site) and tell who you are looking for with names and dates, if you have them.

The other site is www.genforum.com and put in Bean as the forum to be on and then leave a message there.

  3. http://find.person.superpages.com/

has 15 listings for people named Bean, when I check the "Nearby Area" box, BUT

"Nearby Area" includes Lubbock, a large town or small city, depending on how you feel about it

All of his married sisters, daughters, grand-daughters and grand-nieces; plus his grand-nephews who are sons of his married sisters, have a surname other than "Bean".

His obituary will tell you who survived him and where they were at the time.

    http://www.tedpack.org/obit.html

will tell you 4 ways to dig up his obit.

  4. According to the Social Security Index as found on Ancestry.com, your grandfather, Madison Bean, was born 19 October 1919 and died in August 1982, in Ralls, Crosby, Texas.  With this information, perhaps you can contact the following Crosby County historical and genealogical web links:

I'm always glad to help out a fellow Texan.
