It is on her dad's side, and we have documents that say we are related to a queen but they are now in the wrong hands, also, this is an addition to my previous question.

  1. In a way, yes. Anne of Cleves was Henry VIII's fourth wife, although the marriage was quickly dissolved and she was queen for a very short time. She was however, named the King's sister and lived in England until her death. She never married again nor had any children, so you could not be related to her directly, but probably through her family, which was the Duke of Cleves in Germany, which was a small kingdom like area in the middle ages. She had several siblings so that might be how your line traces.

She is a very interesting and clever woman, often called the most lucky of Henry VIII's six wives, and I'd recommend doing some more research on her.

  2. Cleaves was the name of a English Queen - 4th wife of Henry VIII but the marriage was annulled with no children. Anne's father was the Duke of Cleaves (part of Germany now) not sure you could call him royal though!
