  1. Why don't you all sing happy birthday to her at the reception? If she is married, announce your grandma and grandpa's name is how many years they've been married and how they are an inspiration to you. :)

  2. Of course you acknowledge it.  You can have a small cake of her favorite flavor, and she can decide whether to cut it and serve it or take it home.

You could have a special floral decoration or balloons at her table.

You could have the DJ announce it and maybe have the family sing to her.

Whatever you think would make your grandmother feel special.

Oh....and you have it backwards.  Your grandmother's birthday isn't on your wedding day.  Your wedding is scheduled to take place on your grandmother's birthday.  It's just semantics, but your grandmother's birth came first and she should have the honor of place even in your sentence structure.

  3. My fiance wants to get married on our anniversary (which is his sister's birthday). If we do we will be giving her a present and getting her a small cake of her own to share with her 5 best friends that will be invited to spend the day with her. All of this will be before the bouquet toss, garter toss, and cake cutting... But that is only IF we get married on that day (I don't want to trump her day with my wedding...)

  4. yes of course! at least have the DJ announce that it is her birthday

  5. Just have a song dedicated to her at the reception and have the DJ announce that it's her birthday.  You can choose or not choose to give her some flowers or something to symbolize a present or your love for her.

other than that you don't need to do anything extravagant.

  6. Of course you should do something for her. You don't have to make it any big deal, but at least give her a card. If you think you'll forget it in the midst of the wedding stuff, get it ahead of time and give it to someone that you know is responsible and have them give/mail it to her.

  7. I would do something with her at the wedding or something! She has been their for you so do the same for her!

Congratulations and Good Luck in Life!

  8. Yes do something special for her and it will make your day more special. Have a DJ dedicated a song to her or order a minature cake and  sing Happy B-Day to her and let her blow out the candles.

  9. Well something meaningful to her might be if you are open for all options is if you will have a bouquet, instead of throwing it let he rknow yuou would liek her to have it. Im sure she would be suprised and so happy, also like others have said have to DJ deticate a song to her.

  10. Yes, definitely. It would be so sweet to have a little cake with candles for her and have the whole reception sing "Happy Birthday" - you could do this right after you and your husband cut your own cake.

  11. at your reception have the DJ announce that its her birthday and then everybody can sing happy birthday to her and bring her her own little cake like a cupcake or something with a candle!!  how cute would that be =)  good luck
