Has anyone ever heard of this dish --- It is almost like a crepe????

  1. You could also try it's strangest form: Kaiserschmarn  (Ky-zer-schmarn) a sort of cross between a crépe, ein Pfannkuchen and an omelet, usually with raisins in it and dusted with confectioner's sugar.

    Delish.


  2. Do you mean Pfannkuchen?  In southern Germany that's the word for a type of pancake...

    When it's like a jelly-filled donut, it's also called a "Berliner Pfankuchen"...but that's in Northern Germany.
