  1. Any large bird of prey and or coyotes or wolves?

If it was old it may have gone off to die.

    Hope you find her.

  2. So sorry.  Do you know if you have catch and release places out there near you?  What they do is, if there are cats that seem to be wild or not owned by anyone and they are not spayed or neutered, these people trap them and take them to their facilities where they have them spayed or neutered and then, when they are OK, they release them back to where they trapped them.  Maybe something like that happened?  That would be the least of the bad things I can think of, right?

Then again, sometimes cats just disappear for a while.  If it is a male cat, especially, he might be out looking for a female cat at this time to have kittens with.  Then, after a while, he'll return home.  This is quite common.  I've had cats all of my life and often they would disappear for a few days and then show up again as if nothing happened.

Now, however, the cat I have only stays in the house and isn't allowed outside.  That's one way of keeping her safe and secure.

  3. Now that is really bad..Maybe she has found a new friend. But sooner or later she will turn up,i hope. The above replies really are scary and i hope nothing of the sort happens.
