  1. I've done it myself before. Its fine as long as you don't have sensitive skin, and as long as you don't do it too often

  2. my dad did the same with us 40 years ago! the paint was most likely oil based so didn't wash off with soap and water like the water based paints do.

  3. If it didn't irritate your skin, or burn, you are probably ok.   However, using a little paint thinner on human skin isn't a new trick.  I wouldn't worry about it.

  4. No, Grampa was trying to kill his grandchildren.   Of course it was okay.  Really stupid question.

It's petroleum distillate, same c**p in furniture polish, waxed apples and floor wax.  Next time you are in Chemistry class,  PAY ATTENTION!

  5. As long as you wash your self with soap and water after cleaning with paint thinner, you'll be fine, it really does work. I also use something called "Goop" and it's just as good but less smelly. I'm an Artist and paint in oils, and sometimes get it all over my wrists hands arms.

  6. If it got the paint off and you still had skin left , then yes it is ok!
