  1. After they get off the ship, they then have to find there luggage in a big storage area, so if the ship gets into port at 8am, they most likely will not get off the ship till between 8:30 and 9:30. Everyone will be off the ship by about 10am. So I would be there at 8:30, but be prepared to wait a bit and the crowds will be hugh. Hope they have a cell phone to call you if they can.

  2. If you are reading this response you should probably stop immediately and get down there.

  3. Now!

  4. Get there about 9:00 AM.  It will likely take an hour and a half for them to get off the ship.  Here's how it goes.

When the ship docks it has to clear Customs and then they start taking all of the luggage off the ship before they let any passengers leave.  That takes about a hour at least.  Then they let people off the ship in groups, usually according to who has the earliest plane flights home.  So your grandparents may not be in the first groups to get off the ship.  Then when people get off the ship they have to go find their luggage which will usually be in a huge room with hundreds of bags.  So that will take some time.  Then they have to go through Customs and Immigration which should be pretty quick but may add about 15 minutes to their departure.  So be prepared to wait for all of thees things to happen.  They will be comfortable while they wait on ship to leave; they have breakfast stuff, coffee, and a comfortable place to sit for them.
