My grandson's testicles didn't drop . . . ?

My grandson is 5. His pediatrician said that not only have they not dropped, but he can;t even find them. My daughter is making him an appointment with a urologist. I don't know if I need to be really worried or not. I already am, but do I need to be? What are the repercussions for him likely to be from this? Is it fixable? What do we do now?

my son had the same issue only it was just one of them

it was inside him and they just have a quick surgry and he is fine

feel free to baby him though cause he may be in a bad mood for a day or 3

Totally fixable.  It is odd that it took until he was 5 to find this problem though..

My son had this problem, we found it by the time he was 1, and he had the surgery to correct around 18 months.  He was out of commission for a few hours, and was back on his feet within about 3-4 hours after we'd brought him home.  At that age, they bounce back in seemingly minutes.  At 5, he'll probably be out of sorts for a day or so.

He's now 3 and a half, and totally fine..
