My grandson will turn 4 in dec. what should i get him for his birthday? any ideas?

You should give him one of those little plastic cars that he can ride in, and that have a rechargeable battery pack. You could also give him a superhero costume, if he's into that. My five-year-old cousin has a couple of those and he likes to wear them around the house. If you're going for something educational, you could get him something from the Leapfrog line of toys. he's old enough now that it will start to build a memory that every year for his birthday he goes for dinner with his grandma/pa or his grandma/pa make him the same special treat every year for his birthday.

I can't suggest anything, as I'm not part of the family! "First" things are always good. His first book on dinosaurs, cars, astronauts... First bike? First trip to the circus...

Failing that... LEGO always wins! (I'm 18 and still squeal helplessly whenever I'm in the proximity of it!)

Sand and Water table, if there is a place for it and he does not have access to one already - they are wonderful for children. A new bike, with training wheels or without if he also could use one. My son just got an expensive transformer plane, it was not too bad around thirty dollars and he has been playing with it for the last few days since he got it, if your grandson is into Transformers. I also got him the LeapFrog l-max leapster, a handheld educational based game player, he likes that much as well. It is nice to see how interestd you are in getting him something nice for his birthday! I am hoping he has a good birthday!

I have grandsons. 12, 9, 7 and 3. And 2 granddaughters 5 and 3

All of the boys have asked me to buy them LEGOs for Christmas. I got a call from the 9 year old yesterday with the set he wants. It is $80. I don't know what you want to spend, but some are as low as $20 and some as high as $120.

Any kind of erector sets are great at this age. A new bike would be nice. Or a scooter. Hope these links help.

At that age, my brother liked trains and cars, anything thats interactive. Also, since he's starting school soon, think about getting him something that helps him learn, simple things like short books, abc's, colors, shapes, etc. Building blocks are good too. Basically, anything that stimulates his mind and allows him to be creative. Hope it helps!
