My grass in front yard has sun all day and burns up even when watering whats best seed to use?

  1. get some seed that says full sun im pretty sure scotts makes it. make sure you water at night bc the water on the grass is what makes it burn so when done at night its given time to soak up the water :) if you use fertilizer make sure you saturate with water or it will burn up your grass. you can also water in the early mornings just be sure it has time to absorb it :) hope this helps


  2. Full sun grasses - centipede , zoysia , bermuda.

    Fescue cant really take all day sun and look good - the others can.

    Water before 10am so the blades dont develop a fungus which some people mistake for dead or "brown".Fungus can happen during high humidity and the grass just staying wet all the time. Apply a good 1 inch soaking when you do water and then each week.

    Small little daily watering causes the roots to hover around the top layer of soil and also heat up in the sun vs good deep roots that can survive better.
