Last year I had one of the deepest green lawns in my neighborhood. Thick, lush grass. This year I have the exact opposite. This year my grass is on a great watering schedule - early mornings and just right. I fertilized the lawn in February and once again last month(June). Before my grass started turning yellow I noticed a few spots in the lawn that seemed like it was dying. Then I noticed that the grass stopped growing. I didn't need to mow it nearly as much - this started about 45 days ago. Now it seems that the yellowness is spreading across the entire lawn. I fertilized my grass(according to the instructions) and it's getting plenty of water - why it is dying is beyond me. I did notice however, that I'm not the only one in the neighborhood with such a problem, others too are having hard times keeping their grass green. Any ideas on what's going on and how I can fix it? I am hesitant to put down more fertilizer, I don't want to burn lawn.
