My aunt came here with her mean dog a few years ago. The dog has attacked people BEFORE coming here and since then it has attacked people and a dog FIVE TIMES (twice my great-grandmother, once my great uncle, once his dog, and once my great aunt). My grandmother (not the one that was attacked) and my aunt not only allow that dog to stay in the house, they also attempt to cover up the dog attacks (they are documented with the state and county though) BUT they also leave my great-grandmother ALONE with the dog. This recent we found out a week after that my great grandmother had to go to a CLINIC because of hand wounds instead of going to HER OWN DOCTOR or HOSPITAL but then, they took her to a PRIVATE HOSPITAL in order to evade the dog bite report AGAIN. Her wounds are VERY similar to the ones she got the first time she has been bitten. My grandmother and aunt have basically brainwashed my great-grandmother and restrict any communication with other family members. What can we do???

BTW, we have been practically disowned by them, so it is difficult getting ahold of my great-grandmother or get any info. Not even her SON can get any information. He gets from his SON who heard from my grandmother (one that covers it all up)

  1. Call the cops and tell them.. Go opver to see her and if she won't come to the door have police knock it down. Change the locks so they can't come in. Get the records of the bite from the private hospital and show the cops. They are using her and trying to keep her quiet hoping she has stashed away stuff for them in a will or trust. Help her feel safe and get them away. Get the others who has been biten to report that cujo like animal so it can put away

  2. I think that when no ones home the dog should "Wander" out of the gate, and accidentally wind up in the shelter, or the authorities should be contacted. Thats your Great Grand not another pet "ACT"!

  3. Remove the dog from the equation.....kill it, have animal control pick it up, kidnap it......whatever it takes.

    Luck

  4. contact animal control and make a complaint dont wait for this pet of theres to kill a child. They will impound the dog for 14 dayz. Should be a wake up call for the owners. BTW you can do it anonymously

  5. I am a dog lover but sometimes you have to do the right thing like the person said above next time the dog can kill or even badly bite someone. I would report the dog. member of my family had a dog and at christmas her daughter had a baby who lives with her and the dog kept growling at the baby and one day he went for him luckily someone was in the room and able to stop the dog from biting him but we had to get rid of the dog for the babies safety and others. Please do the right thing at the end of the day if it was a person going around doing this he or she would be put in jail so have a good think for your grandmothers safety
