  1. Tax records are searchable by name, you may be able to search property tax online, otherwise you have to go to the county tax assessor.

You will need her name, and many people (like me) put their property into an llc, so you need the name to that.

  2. YOU might need to become a real estate detective.  There are some tools to help you.  You need to know when she might have owned whatever she owned.  Then, you need to visit the county seat for that property.

also, check with any title company!

  3. I would goggle for the county tax records.

Usually you can pull up the tax map key number by the name.

The key is finding the right www. sight to pull up her name.

You can always just ask her.

If you are very serious, you can drive to the Bureau of Conveyance where they hold everyone ones name on title and you can pull it by her name.

If you are willing to pay, an escrow company in that area may be able to do it for you for a fee.

    Good luck...

  4. Check the local tax records for the area.  If you have her name look and see what she may have owned and where.
