  1. I agree with you for the majority.  I think 7-8 is a tad bit young but in this time people do not have nor expect the same things that were once considered standard. Most people do not know what it is to pull their own weight and work for what they want.  You have two extremes in my mind.  Those who earn it and those who sit and wait for the government to fork over the money provided by those who earn it.  I think that people who truly are disabled or elderly should have the benefits provided but those who just choose to sit around like lumps on a log and wait for their check do not deserve it.

Now as for manual labor I think that if you can get a job and not have to come home with callused hands and make the same doing so that is your choice but sometimes that is your only option so you need to take it and work.   Also, if a child needs to be spanked....spank them!  Do not beat the fire out of them but I don't think that parents should have to be afraid of getting hauled off to jail for disciplining their child the same way most of us were disciplined by our parents!

  2. i agree.. ^_^

  3. those were the good old days (when parent could discipline their children and the neighbors children too if they needed it.)

Any more if you even talk to someone else's child about behavior you are considered an outcast.

My children are being raised to respect everyone and to be liable for their actions.....more parents need to get involved in their kids lives and find out what they are really doing.

I am concerned about where this world is going to end up...I look to our future generations that will be running things and shiver with fear. Who is going to send them for a time out when they do something wrong????

Oh wait I forgot they will blame the problem on everyone else and walk away from what ever it is.

  4. sorry, what was the question?

and you may want to work on your grammar ....

  5. Holy buckets, what are you asking?  This doesn't make a lot of sense.
