Could this be Arthur's WW1 draft info?? Was going by birth year. He'd have been 29 when US entered the war in 1917.

    Name:Johnson  Arthur

    Birthdate26 Oct 1888

(Or would this birthdate--28 Nov 1897--and that his mother lived in Charleston SC sound more logical?? He would have been 20 in 1917.)

  2. CJ, I privately sent you what I think is her death date from the SC death index, a while back, as well as what seems to be her in a census record. I didn't get a response so that I could directly email you the census image.

Much of the time, people can pick up the trail without the actual certificates, if there is enough info within the family as to names of parents, and that can be located in the census. It seems that Neely/Cornelia is probably one of those that you will have to purchase the death certificate itself.
