My green cheek conure

Question

earlier i asked about getting my conure a harness, what colour do you think i should get for her (she is a cinnamon green cheek conure) and anything i should be careful about while on the walk (she'd be on my shoulder) but other dogs, probably someon even mentioned hawks.. and any diseases she can pick up from the outside world that i should worry about and what she can get them from.

. and anything poisonous that is outside to them :) thanks o yeah and you dont have to answer everything you cnan even just give an opinion on the color of the harness

Color doesn't matter. What ever you'd like. For a cinnamon green cheek a nice red or green would probably go well.

There are a lot of concerns having a bird outside though. There is the risk of another animal, dogs, cats, and yes hawks and other birds of prey have been known to try and pluck a pet bird (or other pet) right off someones shoulder or right in front of them in the yard.  

Depending on when you're outside can be an issue too. If there are other birds close by that your bird can get near or near their droppings, she could pick something up. If you're out when there are mosquitoes and she gets bit, there's a list of things she could pick up.

Make sure the harness (if your bird will even wear one) is fitted correctly and has not been nibbled on each and every time you put it on. Even a little mark can cause the harness to malfunction in which case your bird could get loose while outside.
