My group is gone....everything is gone! What happened and what can I do?

To make sure your group is still there and that it was not a glitch in the Yahoo system making you unable to find it.  Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

This will pull up all groups in which you are a member.  If you see your group listed, it is still there - just click on the group name and it will take you to your group.  If it does not, just wait a while and try again.

If you do not find it on your groups list and if you are the group owner, your group could have been deleted by Yahoo for some reason.  Perhaps someone complained about it.  You can complete and send a Yahoo Groups Help form to get assistance from Yahoo staff.  Here is a link to that help form:  http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

sometimes groups are delted by moderators by accident- sometimes by TOS.

if it was an accident, Yahoo has been known to reinstate the deleted group. fill out the form and explain to them

if you don't get an answer, it could be gone due to TOS and most times Yahoo wont reply back.

I'm sorry this has happened. in case it was a moderator error, be sure to limit their priviledges
