My guinea pig's eye is slightly closed and pink

Question

The other one is open and a light natural pink color but the other one is half way open and has eye buggers i wipe away every day. I just got her 2 days ago, is it possible for guinea pigs to have pink eye? And is there anything i could do to wash out her eye?

your guinea pig's eye may be a bit irritated i suggest to take it to the vet!

Since you just got her,you'd better bring her to the vet for a check-up.It could be just and eye infection-in which case you'd still need a vets prescription for an antibiotic eye ointment(one suitable for guinea pigs-they all aren't).Sometime in very young pigs these conditions-starting with  just a crusty eye can turn into full blown respiratory infections.Welcome to the world of guinea pigs.
