  1. Guinea pigs like 7 feet cages

  2. Get a cube and coroplast cage. They are as big as you want them to be. You can even make them 2 story! You can find cubes at target in many different colors for less than 15 dollars.

Coroplast is cardboard with a water proof coat of any color you want. It's really strong and will last you the whole piggy's life time. You can find these at a local sign shop for about $20 dollars.

This may seem expensive but they are cheaper than the store bought cage, ( or what i like to call: glorified litter boxes ) and they are bigger. Here are some videos of how to build them and different styles you can make them in.

  3. Try ebay.  I found a really big one for my sisters 2 piggers, with a couple of levels for exercise and they love it.  And they are a lot cheaper than pet stores.  Also try your local classifieds.  Sometimes people sell them cheap or are giving them away.

  4. Go C&C. You can change the shape and size, ansd its is halthy/safe for guinea pigs.

Go here for info on how to make and where to get supplies for a guinea pig cage. http://www.guineapigcages.com/howto.htm

I once bought a cage for $50, and two months later when it broke, I looked into C&C and found out that I could make an even bigger one for only $30.

  5. try craigslist. preferabbly a c & c would be good

  6. The c and c cages are, by far, the best. The one in the PetSmart link is WAY too small for one guinea pig, much less multiples.

  7. Here is a link and a good size cage:

    Hope this helped=) Good luck!

  8. make one, thats what i did for my rabbits, it was easy. all you need is chicken wire, wood, newspaper, bedding and some nails.

  9. go to guineapigcages.com to make one

  10. c&c are the best, my 3 boys live in a 3ft by 6ft run.... we dont have the sides up all round it, just one corner so we can hang the water bottle and the hay rack.  they dont escape!  cost me about 20 quid
