  1. guinea pigs have to have vitamins and a guinea pig diet . they have to be a pine or aspen bedding not ceder because it would kill them. you can tell when a guinea pig gets sick because it starts coughing and it has discharge in the eyes and that. if you see that you need to bring it to the vet fast and let them get checked.

  2. Well, guinea pigs can get depressed and pine on their own.

It's not unusual for one guinea pig to die after the other one- they'll stop eating, playing, grooming, and eventually die of seemingly a symptomless illness.

  3. the guinea pig was prob bonded with the other one. if two animals are really close as a love song they cant live without each other. your guinea prob really missed its friend and it was missing it so much it forced itself into not eating. I'm Sorry about your furry friends

  4. Rabbits and Guinea Pigs are Herbivores, this mean they eat a plant based diet.

Unlike most other herbivoes, rabbits and guinea pigs  are coprophagic. this means they produce special faecal pellets that they eat.these are ofen called night pellets.rabbits and guniea pigs obtain many  of their vitamins requirements from these pellets.which also helps to maintain the right balance of organism living inside the caecum.

Food's rabbits and Guinea pigs should avoid

Vegetables such as Broccoli, cabbage and kale can cause too much gas to be produced if fed in large amounts to rabbits & guinea pigs.

    High-Oxalate vegetables

Greens such as Spinach, beet leaves, and to a lesser extent parsley can have high levels of oxalate vegetables.fed in high amounts these can interfer with calcium metabolism and cause damage to the kidneys.Carnivoes are unlikely to consume  enough of these to cause a problem, butr herbivores such as rabbits and guinea pigs could be at risk if fed these greens as the bulk of their diet, they are not a problem if fed in small amounts to healthy animals

    Grain based diets

These are too high in energy and do not contain enough effective roughage. the high energy results in fat pets and the lack of roughage contributes to dental disease and poor intestinal health.

One way to find out what caused there death is to take both of the dead guinea pigs to the vets and get the vets do a autopsy!
