Children came at home, one of them pushed my guinea pig by his two hands from the middle (left side - right side - belly - back)of his body harshly & picked it up for several seconds! As my brother told me, that guy did that several times! I wasn't aware about it.

Now the children left. I went to my guinea pig to see it, she doesn't fear when i pet here, nor move, she usually get excited when she sees me, but now she does not even fear anybody, my brother came and pet her, she just move slightly, usually she runs away. I took her house that she is hiding in out, but she does not even run away to another hole. I'm worried now, she could have broken bones, or starting to die! Any advice, please help

  1. She is probably a little traumatized and scared of humans for the time being. Try and push her rump a little and see if she cries in pain or limps. If so take her to the vet immediately something could have broken or popped out.

  2. TAKE HER TO THE VET IMMIDIATLY she might even die if i were you i would kill those kids later on and care for my guinea pig

  3. Take her to a vet. If she has a broken leg or arm, it could be a cage of having to e put down.

  4. she probably has a broken bone or she might be shocked my  suggestion is take her to the vet he will know what to do.

  5. Take her to a trained exotic vet IMMEDIATELY. Regular cat/dog vets will not know anything about guinea pigs.

Here's a good list in helping you find one: http://www.guinealynx.info/vetlist.html

  6. She might be lonely. Buy a friend for her.

  7. Oh dear! My first guinea pig wouldn't move and it turned out she had something terribly wrong with her and died later that day! Bleeding from the skin too. Hope this isn't the same with your piggie! Take her to the vet ASAP!

  8. I would take her two the vet ASAP. She might have a broken bone. I hope you and your guinea pig feel better! Good luck!

  9. please get off the computer and take her to the vet.  SHE NEEDS HELP NOW.

  10. Shes probably in a bit of shock, or maybe hurt or broken bone.

monitor her really carefully, and move each limb really gently just to check if it is broken ( it might hurt her, but at least you know if it is)

if it is shock, just turn off all of the lights, and keep her in a dark place, and make sure she has heaps of water and eats well.

if you are still not sure, vet it.

  11. Take her to a vet now. It could be that they stress her out to the point that shes in shock. Or it is very possible that they did break a bone
