  1. he probably has a cold, make sure you are giving him fresh vegetables and fruit, hopefully he feels better soon.

  2. he might have a cold and not feeling too good.  If it gets worse take to a vet for antibiotics.

  3. You are right, Guinea pigs CANNOT get colds. However, they can get Upper Respiratory Infections (URIs) which are very dangerous and deadly if not treated. You need to get your pig to the vet for antibiotics. Baytril or Bactrim are the usual antibiotics for pigs. Any penicillin based antibiotics are toxic to guinea pigs. Print of this list and take it to your vet. Good Luck! http://www.guinealynx.info/antibiotics.h...

Addition: The cloudy pee is normal.

I found this, hope it helps!!!!

  5. How long has he had the runny nose? How slightly runny is it?  Is it forming a crust?

    Also, how old is he?

Is his urine normally cloudy looking?

    From Guinea Lynx:

    NOSE

    NORMAL:

    Nose should be clean.

    NOT NORMAL:

Snotty noses and frequent sneezing can be a sign of a bacterial infection.

Fungal infections often start on the face.

Cheilitis is an inflammation of the lips that sometimes spreads toward the nose.

    URINE

    NORMAL:

Urine may be clear to cloudy in color. Calcium compounds in the urine cause this cloudiness. Normal urine is not gritty in texture. Dried urine may leave powdery white calcium compounds. Very young guinea pigs often have an orange or brown tint to their urine. Urine sometimes changes to an orange color on standing (this may be the oxidation of porphyrins in the urine).

    NOT NORMAL:

Gritty compounds: may indicate sludge in the bladder. Strong smelling urine may be a sign of dehydration or infection. The gritty deposits are sometimes called sludge, which feels coarse and sandy. Powdery deposits are normal.

Blood in urine is not normal and may be due to a urinary tract infection, bladder stones, or (in females) reproductive problems like pyometra (an infection of the lining of the uterus).

Incontinence is not normal. Your guinea pig should be relatively dry. If its fur is constantly wet and/or there is an odor, be sure to have your pet checked out for a urinary tract infection or other problem.

TIP: To check for sludge, line the cage with dark colored towels. To check for blood, use light colored towels.

If he was my piggie, I'd take him to get it checked out at a guinea pig qualified vet to make sure everything is ok.

    Better safe than sorry!

Good luck to your and your piggie!

  6. The cloudy pee may be due to excess calcium, but unless it dries up gritty he should be fine.

The runny nose is a sign of a URI, or Upper Respiratory Infection. These get very bad very fast, and he needs to go to an Exotics Vet ASAP. He should be prescribed either Baytril or Bactrim, as well as some sort of probiotic. My first guinea pig passed away on Baytril because he was not given a probiotic along with it. If the URI is treated before it progresses he will most likely be just fine.
