one vet said yeah just put her back in.another said no keep her seperate one says dont use sawdust and other says yes use it whats the right thing to do.i will take her at 8 30 am to be done and will only get her back at 4 am all being well.she went to be checked with a nipple lump and one under her front leg just under two weeks ago and was booked for an operation tomorrow, now she has 4 lumps.does anyone have any idea if they are more likely to be cysts or tumours considering how quick she got 2 more lumps?

  1. im affraid keeping her away from the other pigs is vital after ops which may mean when she is fully recovered you may no longer be able to put her back in with the other two pigs as they would of been apart to long..... you can use saw dust just check her often to make sure no sawdust has got stuck to her wounds....but thats all i can recament im affraid maybe talk to another vet but only do what you feel best as no1 on here can tell you what to do hun.... good luck... x c x

  2. I would keep it separate for a few days so the wound can heal and I don't think sawdust is a very good idea for a day or two, what ever you use change it as soon as it is soiled to help against any infection.

  3. Keep her separated just to be safe.

  4. would not ut her with the others and would not use sawdust with her til sutures come out in my opinion and i am sorry but likely tumors
