  1. awww thats adorable that means he feels good its like when a cat purrs it is comfortable one of my guinea pigs do it too

  2. none of these people know what they are talking about aguinea pig purrs when it is mad, scared,or hurt guinea pigs hide there injuries and sicknesses as much as they can so check in on that

  3. The little sweeties do that when they are happy!!

That just means they like you holding them and

are letting you know. They purr and make whistles

and squeals and popcorn where they jusp in the air.

Take it as a compliment, they love you :)

  4. Nope, it's all good.

    Haha, nice imitation there!

And it depends on the pig with the whole being rubbed, scratch, etc. Most like it though, I think.

  5. Sounds like he is very happy!

  6. thats normal.....he's just happy.       start petting his nadz and then you will hear him sing like Barry White

  7. he's possesed

  8. Well purring can be annoyed or happy. They sound the same. also the short little sounds means they are content or happy, or curious. They liek to be petted more than scratched, mine kicks me if i scratch her, but rubbing is good too - I have 6.

  9. They just purr when they are excited or happy. It's so cute. Males (boars) are more likely to purr then females, it's strange.

They like to be gently rubbed on the spot behind there ears where no hair grows. (all guinea pigs have no hair behing their ears!)

  10. Very normal! The 'eh eh eh' noise is often called chutting, which is a very common guinea pig noise that means numerous things, usually just that the guinea pig is content. Like any animal, different guinea pigs like different things. Most guinea pigs don't enjoy being pet on the stomach or head, but you never know!

  11. Purring is their way of expressing comfort and a feeling of being secure.  If they purr around others it also means they are talking.  They normally sqeak when they are frightened!

    Hope this helps!!

  12. They purr sometimes when scared. My Guinea pig does the weird noise when I hold her too. They do that just because it is their personality. They like to be rubbed, but if he has cowlicks, then it might hurt him.

  13. Awe! I think it's cute!
