  1. um i would take it to the vet because i had a rabbit once that sounded stuffy and all but acted fine and a couple days later it died cuz it had a cold

  2. Can you expand on that?

  3. Dear Guinea Pig Stuffiness Inquirer,

    As you might know, animals are able to have allergies, just like us humans. My hamster and my dog had allergies. It's seasonal, so don't worry. As long as nothing else happens weird with your guinea pig, there shouldn't be much of a problem.

    Good luck and make sure to take good care!,

  4. he or she mite have alligeys but i would take him to the vet just in cass he might have lung probles:{

    hope i helped lol

  5. Could just be allergies. If he has bedding that is too dusty it can make him more stuffed up. Wood chips often do this. Keep an eye on him b/c he can go down hill fast.

  6. Guinea pigs are prey animals. They hide their illnesses and/or injuries very well so that they don't get picked off by a predator. This is their instinct.

    Having said that, unless you are very observative and know what signs/symptoms of illness to be looking for, by the time YOU notice there is something wrong, its usually far worse than you think. Basically, piggies will hide illness until they are so sick they can't hide it anymore.

    If you feel like your piggie has a stuffy nose, a vet visit would be in order to make sure he's not developed an upper respiratory infection.

  7. OK this is very important. Are you giving him a vitamin supplement in her water? guinea pigs can't produce vitamin c on their own so they absolutely NEED it. And if he is making any sort of noise out of the ordinary squealing he may need to be taken to the vet and soon. It is most likely a respiratory infection. I see it all the time and this can be very serious.

  8. i dont understand you could you write the question better please.
