  1. Maybe she doesn't want to get lost if that has ever happened to her.

  2. How old is she? Sometimes they slow down as they get older. If she's still young you may just have to be patient with her. Her friend may be nervous and it may make her scared too. Scatter pieces of lettuce around the room for them to hunt for and they should both warm up to floor time!

  3. When they suddenly freeze, that means they are scared, it's a natural instinct, for when they think there is a predator near by. When you put both of the guinea pigs outside, make sure it's somewhere shady and there is something to hide in. Get them used to it, by taking them outside every morning or afternoon.

  4. well my two sows are like that too. they sit around their cage all day getting fat (double chins and all) and at night they run laps like crazy. so when i take them out for playtime, they just sit there. they move only when im coming their way. i think maybe an obstacle course might be the solution. they like to tunnel and look for treats so i want to put one together that i can pack away when they're not using it. maybe it might help your piggie stay active too. good luck

  5. its ok they were just scared or maybe she is getting old its nothing to worry about (but you could check the bottoms the cavies feet to see if it has any sores (my guinea pigs are really active after they eat they run around their cage for about five minutes then fall asleep)
