My guinea pig wont walk on his leash?

my guinea ace wont walk on his leash. i dont know if its because he just doesnt like it! or is there something i can do?

  1. I never heard of a guinea pig walking on a leash; they are not dogs.  The leash can keep him from running away, but that's about it.  

    Maybe if you whistle or churr, he will follow you.


  2. He probably just doesn't like it, I've never once met a rodent, other than a rat and a pair of ferrets who actually liked using a leash. Its a good thing to use if you're playing outside and you don't want him to runaway, but actually walking him....I doubt it will work, but good luck!! <3
