My guitar can't do good hammer-ons and pull-offs. Is it the guitar or the strings? Please help me.

  1. It's much easier to do hammer-ons and pull-offs on an electric. Make sure you hammer your finger onto the string with some force behind it, and same with doing a pull-off: pull your finger off the string with force.


  2. Most likely the action may be a bit high... If that's not the case, it's just a matter of practice.

  3. more detail needed what kind of guitar is it. and are you sure that its the guitar and not the guitarist
