I'm not sure what liquid to use, or if I should even use a liquid. I want to make it look new so any tips of anything extra I could do to make it look better would be much appreciated. Also how do I get the dust out from in between the strings?

  1. Try some Old English wood polish available at most supermarkets.

As for the dust between the strings if it is on the neck, try using one of those thin dusting sheets. You can cut them into strips of any width and length.

Also a case or cover on the guitar  will help in between dusting. It won't prevent the dust from accumulating, but the frequency of cleaning will be reduced.

  2. eat ittt...

  3. I've been very happy with the wood/glass specific furniture dusting products. They seam to leave the least amount of wax build-up and clean the original finish's very well. Be sure to wipe away any excess residues off the metal parts. Thick terry towels cut into handy sizes are excellent for this task.
