My guitar hero explorer controller has a weird plug-in input, how does this go into my 360?

Ok, when I got guitar hero 2, It came with the explorer controller and I beat that and everything. Then I got guitar hero 3 with the new controller. Now I want to use both and I have seen that the plug in for the explorer is different. There is no where to plug it in on my 360! :| It is like a round usb but a circle case instead of rectangular. PLEASE HELP!!

it wont fit.  different connection.  didnt work for me either.
