Question:

My gums are bleeding?

I brush every day, twice a day. I'm 15, and I have braces. For the past two days or so, my gums HURT and bleed while I brush. I already use an extra soft tooth brush, and the brush is not even a month old. I don't think I brush too hard, I've been brushing the same way for two years now. No other problems until now.

I plan to go to the dentist, I would just like other outside ideas in the mean time, or a suggestion that can possibly save me the trip there. :)

  1. its probably gum disease. if this is the case then you really need to make sure that you brish your teeth well at least two times a day and make sure to floss. Flossing is very important. its not something to worry about... alot of people get gum disease, but you should really get it checked out before it worsens. see a dentist as soon as you can.
