  1. Some people come to the dentist when they experience swollen, painful gums and when their teeth and gums appear unsightly.  But what they do not know is that there are numerous reasons to visit a dentist.  Because people are afraid to ask, they lack the confidence to go and seek treatments.  Self-checking is recommended by dental professionals for us to be able to look and observe for any mouth ulcers that do not heal, gum inflammation causing red, bleeding and swollen gums, or any lumps, bumps or lesions on the lips.  All of these needs awareness.  Promoting health lifestyle, and the drive to reduce the intake of sugary foods and drinks can help save teeth that can last a lifetime for the reason that you can never replace it with something as good as the original.
