  1. This happened to me. Since I used to have braces and I didn't brush very well at first. When I started flossing, my gums would bleed. And my gums appeared to be swollen. But after a while it stopped. And make sure to brush very lightly. Also, you should buy something called a Water Pik. It sprays water in your mouth and gets all the stuff out. Very useful to me. I got mine for $30 bucks. Worth it. Here is what it is(not the one I bought though). Something like this.

  2. strengthen your gums by flossing every night.

make an appointment with a dental hygienist; they can show you the right way to floss, brush and take care of your teeth and gums better.

  3. maybe itz tha toothpast...mine get irritated if i use anything with bakingsoda or peroxide n it...

  4. First you need to get a cleaning (deep cleaning its called Scaling and Root planning) after that you need to get perio maintenance. Its not a good sign for you to bleed every time you brush that means your gums are not healthy.  You also need to brush every night that is the most important time of the day to brush.  Flossing will help alot if you cant do it during the day again I recommend to do it at night.

See at night is when all the bacteria comes out and do there job so if you have any food in your mouth or sleep without brushing this is where it will take advantage and those cavities get you.

Also start rinsing with warm water and salt this will help your start healing your gums... do it every night until you can go and get a deep cleaning.... then follow instructions from your dentist after your cleaning visit.

Bleeding gums are also a sign of boneloss in your gums this occurs when you dont brush properly ( you are supposed to brush in circle motions, soft circle motions, this way you will not hurt your gums) or floss properly buildup starts gathering around your teeth sometimes it will even look like if its part of your teeth.... so this build up which is bacteria will start eating your bone, then your teeth become loose, which also causes your gums to bleed.

Could also be a sign of mal nutrition.

  5. If you have not been flossing regularly, it is probably a good idea to start doing so.  At first, your gums will probably bleed when you floss, but eventually they should become accustomed to the stimulation so that you can brush and floss your teeth without your gums bleeding.  An oral irrigator, such as Water-Pik(R) might be beneficial.  Your dentist should be able to give you even more suggestions.

Another possible cause for your gums to bleed when you brush is if you scrub too hard or use too much pressure.  Make sure that you are not pressing down too hard with your toothbrush when you brush your teeth and don't grip your toothbrush too hard.  If you are currently using a manual toothbrush, an electronic toothbrush might be an improvement.  There are some electric toothbrushes that stop automatically if you use too much pressure.  And if you begin using any electric toothbrush, you will need to break the habit of scrubbing as you do with manual brushing as your toothbrush will be doing the scrubbing for you and all you will need to do is move the electric toothbrush gently over your teeth.  Some models have timers that pace your brushing so that you can brush each area of your mouth for the right amount of time.  I hope that helps.

  6. You need to visit the dentist.

Also you need to ensure that your diet includes lots of fruits, inclusive of citrus fruits, vegetables, inclusive of green leafy vegetables and raw vegetables, nuts, and grains. These are necessary to provide nutrients that are important for the health of your teeth and gum.

  7. that's normal, mine bleed too. i think it's just cuz you have  sensative gums.. try brushing your gums harder and more often to toughen them up and eventually, they will stop.

  8. you might be having some gum diseases.. how long have you been like that?

DO go ans visit your dentist ..

Beside that, you can go to pharmacy and ask them for good mouth rinse, that can prevent infection and fight gum diseases..

Rinse it 3 times everyday after food.. and it helps, dun swallow it..

do not brush your teeth too hard..

If not you can buy any mouth wash.. read the instruction of it and use it..

Do drink carrot juice and milk.. it is good for gum and fight infection( for carrot juice and natural honey)...

Do give it a try..if thing improved then you be fine.. if after several day, it worsen..pls go and see your family docter( antiboties can be given) if worse..go to your dentist..

    Take care

  9. go see a dentist

  10. You need to start flossing! Mine used to do that, and when I started flossing everynight they stopped.

  11. Ok so this happened to me for a bit. Don't brush so hard number one, and number two - when you're in the shower, let the water hit your gums directly. It'll massage your gums and they won't bleed when you brush your teeth afterwards.

  12. Use the softest toothbrush there is and Sensodyne toothpaste. You should also go to the dentist to make sure that you are not suffering from some sort of gum disease.

  13. you need to floss every night

  14. you have gingervitis the only way to stop it is to brush three times a day like they say.

  15. You need to see your dentist. It sounds like you have gum disease. You'll need to see a periodontist if that's the case. Bleeding  gums is not "normal". It's a sign of unhealthy gums and teeth. Good luck to you.
